If this page is listed on my bio, then I don't really like to follow someone or follow someone back because I simply don't want to hear too much negativity on my social media feed. Social media is often engineered towards maximum engagement, and being negative often results in such a reaction.
What does this mean?
- I don't like seeing too much political discourse
- I don't like seeing too many disasters
- If you think I should know, I've probably already heard it from someone else
This doesn't mean that:
- I hate you
- You can't contact me
- You can't post bad news if it's urgent
There is no judgement in any of your preference or posts or whatever, it's just my preference to set a boundary for myself. I'd like to think that we can have a better social media interaction this way. Thanks! Love you ❤
